This weekend was incredible! Our Rotaract club was joined by four other Rotaract clubs in the 50/50 District, we had people from the Semiahmoo Peninsula Rotaract, the Surrey-Newton Rotaract, the Fraser Valley Rotaract, the Tri-Cities Rotaract club, and the Snohomish County Rotaract.
In honour of the new Rotaract year, the five clubs came together for a multitude of reasons:
- Swear in the 2018/2019 Presidents
- Swear in the 2018/2019 Executive Boards
- See friends and spend time together
- Enjoy a meal together
- Have fun!!!
All of the Rotaract clubs, as well as Rotarians, and the Rotary District Governor joined together at Crescent Park in White Rock for a special day of celebrating the new Rotary year. There was lots of chatting, laughing, smiles, HUGS, great food, great friends, and of course pictures. This afternoon followed the Rotaract-Rotary Breakfast Connection that had taken place that morning.
It was a great way to spend time together with fellow Rotaracters and Rotarians on a beautiful afternoon. A fantastic way to bring in the new Rotary year, we are very excited to see what the 2018/2019 Rotary year has in store for us as well all of the Rotary 50/50 District!
